Brooklyn, New York (PRWEB) December 13, 2013

This sprawling American Brooklyn, NY neighborhood known as Bedford-Stuyvesant, or Bed Stuy (for short), is comprised of two historically different areas, Bedford and the historically more upscale Stuyvesant. Parts of the neighborhood are landmarked so the remarkable late-19th century feel of this area will be preserved. That means you can expect to see rows of gracious brownstone homes on tree-lined streets, lots of open sky (the buildings aren't more than four or five stories high), and historic buildings including churches and a small, old-fashioned community library.

Despite the largest recession to hit the United States in the last 70 years, growth in entertainment and diversity in individuals as in students, hipsters, artists, creative professionals, architects and attorneys of all races continues steadily throughout the neighborhood, if not accelerated by the affordable prices of living in Bedford Stuyvesant. The strong community and abundant brownstone townhouses in the neighborhood contribute to its growth and charm. Since 2008 a score of new cafes, restaurants, bakeries, boutiques, galleries and wine bars has sprung up in the areas with a concentrated growth found along the western and southern parts of the neighborhood. These areas include blocks north of the Nostrand Avenue and Fulton Street intersection and West of Fulton Street and Stuyvesant Avenues. These areas are serviced well by the express A train subway stops at Nostrand Avenue and Utica Avenue, with commute times 15 minutes to Lower Manhattan and 30 minutes to Midtown Manhattan.

http://www.PartyBedStuy.com has a few listings of the many places like Fashion Rock Hall where people and families can enjoy this newly developed haven. Don't be surprised if you find yourself at a Baby Shower, Wedding or a Sophisticated Birthday Party in Bedford-Stuyvesant NY. Reported by PRWeb 4 hours ago.
