On February 23, 2014 the annual Brea 8K Classic and the USA National Masters Championship races will be held in Brea, CA. Registration and packet pick-up begins at 6:30am, the Masters race start promptly at 7:30am, and the main race begins at 8:00am. In addition, there will be a Kid’s Fun Run starting at 9:15am on the same day. Every February runners converge on Brea, not for black Friday shopping at the Brea Mall, but for one of the last qualifying races before the Los Angeles Marathon. This year there is extra exciting because the USA Track and Field Masters Championship race will be run just prior to the main event. Come run in the gorgeous California weather and enjoy Southern California’s finest finish line food from Orange County’s best restaurants. While you’re in town, stay a few extra days take advantage of local attractions such as Disneyland Resort, Knott’s Berry Farm, and sunny beaches.
