Cheap food isn’t necessarily a bargain, and remarkably, just 22 percent of respondents to Consumer Reports’ latest fast-food survey‚ covering 96,208 meals at 65 chains—thought their meal offered excellent value. These three chains were the standouts—judged better than average—in terms of how much bang they offered readers for their dining dollars.
